Travel Things…

One week from today we will be meeting our tiny P!

We are leaving this Friday… yes, in four days (Four!), well before the crack of dawn.

We are flying to Hunan province, which is the same province our baby J is from. Our tiny P is from a different region and a different orphanage, but we will be staying in Changsha, the capital of Hunan, in the same hotel we stayed before.

We are really hoping to visit our daughter’s orphanage, but it is quite a ways away, so we will have to play it by ear.

As usual, we will spend the first week in our girl’s province, where the adoption is finalized. And then after we get her passport we will fly to Guangzhou for the US portion of our trip… she will have her medical exam in Guangzhou as soon as we get there, and we will have her consulate appointment there and come home a couple days after the consulate. Tiny P will be a US citizen as soon as our plane lands in America.

Yes, we are taking the kids! Little M and baby J are super excited about this trip. Baby J is so excited to fly, as usual, and little M just can’t wait to get to her baby sister.

Thank you for all of your well-wishes and prayers! We would very much appreciate your continued prayers for tiny P’s health and her transition to our family while traveling, as well as after we come home. Only one more week!
