The Boy…

He’s almost been home for four months…

He can make me laugh out loud, and he can make me want to cry the ugly cry.
He is the most stubborn child I know, and I had thought that no one could be more stubborn than my little M.
He is also the most affectionate little guy I know.
He loves his sister, and a coveted hug from her makes his day.
He is overjoyed to see his daddy at the end of the day.

He loves cars and dinosaurs.
He also loves his pink baby.
He is very easily overstimulated.
He’s a tad bit on the violent side (is the throwing and hitting a boy thing?).
He’s the loudest child I know.
He can play and read books for hours.

He is starting to speak primarily in English.
He is starting to forget his Chinese, and that sometimes makes him sad.
He starts speech, physical, and occupational therapy soon.
He will get his braces in ten days, and I can’t wait.

He is one tough little guy, and he can be a challenge…he is an avenue for my continued sanctification.

He does whatever he wants. we’re woking on it…
His stubborn faces crack me up.
He will not take no for an answer.
He is the strongest two year old I know.

His bond to us is growing, and we are seeing some signs of attachment.
We are looking forward to seeing what the next months with our little guy will bring!

It is amazing how quickly they attach to an older sibling. He sounds completely infatuated with her. 🙂

Boys are loud, my friends have them and I just marvel at the decibels they can reach. Really I do, it amazes me.Stubborn is good when you come from nothing and have nothing it helps you to get at minimum, a tiny something. Stubborn will take him far.His stubborn face melts me. He is a lovely.
