Little M’s Little Room…
As soon as we saw that one of the bedrooms in the new house had a wall of built-ins, we knew that room was going to be little M’s. We went electronic years ago, and we only have a few paper books left. But little M is a paper book girl, and her book collection is only growing.
Also, she loves “seeing” all of her things. The rest of us like stuff put away, but little M likes her stuff to be out on display where she can see it.
With some trepidation we let her choose the colors for her room…
And even though she collected some paint chips that made me sweat a little bit, she eventually chose a very pretty purple and pink.
The purple was fortuitous, since she had so much purple decor from her previous room…
It turned out very sweet, and pretty, and I am just thrilled it is not lime green with orange. Ha.
Also, does our girl look like she has grown in the last month?! She needs to stop that…

I'm with M…I love my kindle but nothing can replace a paper book! This is such a sweet little girls room…and good on you for letting her choose the colors! When we moved into this house my mom let my sister and I choose our room from the J.C. Penny's catalog (dating myself!). We had so much fun and Mom was such a trooper to let us paint lime green! 🙂
