Little M-isms…

She makes me laugh every day. I love her so…

She calls laundry “laundraymee.” It doesn’t matter how many times I correct her. She will still ask me if I am going to do the “laundraymee.” And I laugh every time.

I was telling the husband about little M getting into some trouble during the day last week, and she started listening in, and when I paused in my story she said “and then, uhhh-ohhh. I got in trouble!”

Little M loves this season, and it makes me beyond happy. She has been loving putting trees up and decorating. The day after Thanksgiving we were putting decorations out, and she threw her little arms around my legs and said “I’m having a fun, fun day!”

Little M has a cd of her favorite songs in the car, and a few of those songs are Glee songs. I will shamefully admit that one of them is the Rebecca Black Friday song. If you don’t know it, google it. Yes, I know it makes no sense at all…Little M LURVES that song. There is a little rap bit in there, and last week she was singing along then she stopped and said “here comes the wooo, get ready for the Wooo!” And at the exact right time, she yelled “wooo,” and then sang the rest of the stupid song.

Last week we had a warmer day, and I loaded little M into the stroller and went for a walk on the trail by our house. Several runners passed us, and after the third runner breezed by, little M looked back at me with disgust, and said, “ugh mommy, why are you going sooo slow!?”

The girl loves having her hair done, and sometimes, when we have the time, I curl her hair. After I curled her hair the other day, she squealed and said “I just love hair ruffles!”

When we were at Target the other day little M spotted something, and several people around us laughed when she said “oooh, momma! Look at those huge, giant marshmellers! I think I have to have them!”

Little M is obsessed with this Tinker Bell movie. I know I have mentioned that she often gets it confused with reality. In this movie, Tinker Bell is a tinker fairy, and according to a wind fairy (in the movie) Tinkers work down in a ditch. The other day, we were at lunch and little M was watching some road workers across the street, who were digging something. She watched and thought for a while, and then she said “ditch.” I looked at her, and she said “is that a ditch mommy?” I said it was, and she said “they are working down in a ditch! They are tinker fairies! Yay!”
Weirdo.

Love this! Chuckled through the entire thing…how can one little kid be so adorable! And isn't it neat the little things they pick up on? Lol! So funny about Little M's CD…my littlest sister loved Bryan Adams' Summer of '69 when she was little and before she could even crawl she would start dancing whenever it came on. Adorable to say the least.

Ha! I always live these anecdotes! They make me laugh out loud. For the record, Katie and I both live Glee's version of Lady Gaga's \”bad romance\”. I hope she never figures out the lyrics beyond ooh la la Roh ma ma!
