Little Boy Feet…

Remember when our boy’s foot used to look like this?

Baby J had his five month post-surgery visit with the orthopedist on Monday…

His little foot is looking amazing. Please note the sad little marks from his braces…

His club foot is definitely smaller than the “normal” foot, but if there wasn’t a scar, you might not know which was which just looking at them.

Both flat… both straight…

We will see the orthopedist again in four months… We were told that we might even get to lose the AFO (daytime brace) after that! How amazing would that be? For now, though, we continue with the AFO as we have been, and the barred boot brace at night indefinitely…

Baby J was a happy little rockstar at the orthopedist…I am hoping this means that the trauma of casting has been forgotten…
