Happy Birthday, Little Girl!

Our little Mackenzie turned two on Tuesday! It does my heart so much good to see my little girl looking so happy in her birthday pictures.

Many thanks to Ann, at Red Thread China for arranging to have the cake delivered for us, and for getting these pictures back to us so quickly. It made my day to get them!

Apparently it is a Chinese tradition for adults to dab frosting on children’s faces on their birthday. Can’t wait to kiss those sweet cheeks!

Happy Birthday Mackenzie!!!This is such an incredibly sweet post. How wonderful that you made the connection with Ann and she was able to make this happen. The cake turned turned out gorgeous and Mackenzie looks like she is truly enjoying herself in these pictures!I know by this stage of the waiting that you probably feel like screaming one minute and crying the next… I remember how hard it is… She'll be home soon, hang in there!Your daughter is beautiful!
