Dandyflowers…

Little M has been enamored with “dandyflowers” (dandelions), ever since she first saw them in a book. She has always loved picking and carrying around the yellow flowers, but was baffled by the white dandyflowers in the book. She had never seen the white, “poofy dandyflower”…

Until last week. We saw them in a park, and I pointed them out to her. “Just like my book!” she said.
She was so excited they were real!

Then she tried it, and decided she was not such a big fan after all.

She would rather just collect the real thing.
