Chargers And Pumpkin Art, Oh My!

I found these shiny chargers at the craft store, they called to me, and they came home with me.

Little M and I did something I said I would never do…we used glitter. Why do people love glitter? I think it’s an abomination…no matter what you do, no matter how careful, the glitter gets in places. You can never get it all clean, never. But it is so sparkly and pretty…so we did it.
We made a spider web, and some fall leaves…
Others got words…
Of course, some got chalkboard paint…
And then we bejeweled a spider…
The chargers are great for table, ledge, and window decor, and will be great for a hostess gift with some candles or cookies, but the walls needed more. So we punched some jack o’ lanterns out of cardstock, painted a canvas black, and glued the pumpkins on.

jack o’ lantern specimen art!

Super cute! I need to take crafting lessons from you because I love to browse and plan to do them, but totally stink at actually doing them.

I'm the queen of glitter and I understand the love/hate relationship. Your chargers are just fabulous.

So So cute, love the idea of using the chargers to give as hostess gifts. I have never thought of that before! The pumpkin art is so cute too-it's fun that kids can do it with you but doesn't look too \”kiddish.\” I'll have to try that with my boys!
