Aware..

This is CHD awareness week, and February is CHD awareness month…but for our family, so are all the other months in the year. We are very aware of congenital heart defects in our house, and all that they entail. We know about special hearts, we have many little friends with special hearts, and our kids know heart anatomy better than most adults.

Our little ones are so brave, so strong, and we know that every day with them is a gift, and that tomorrow is a hope but not promised. And so we live and we love…and we are very, VERY aware. Today and always.
