A Contradiction…

I have the sweetest, prettiest girlie girl… But she is her own person.
She marches to the beat of her own drum.
And she likes what she likes.

I am proud of her for sticking to what she likes, even when all her little girlfriends are playing with princesses, and girlie things.

My girl loves her a princess dress…and no princess would be caught dead without her tiara on. But that’s where it ends. Under that she has on batman underwear, and is wearing a purple batman t-shirt.

And my girl loves her some cars…

So we made some roads out of painter’s tape. And we made us a little town.

And little M put on her gloves. Because, as she informed me, if there was a car crash it could get messy. Totally. My princess is nothing if not sensible.

And we played cars for DAYS. For days.

And it made my little girl happy…the end.

Josie is the exact same way. She prefers superheros and cars over dolls any day. I love that our girls beat to their own drums. Hugs.

Hurray for looking beautiful while playing with cars! Our AA doesn't play with dolls or dress up (unless our grand daughters drag her into their princess world). AA likes cars, playing farm, playing as dogs, and of course her golfing! Looks like you have a creative little girl!Alyzabeth's Mommy
