Waiting…

We are STILL in the hospital! We are hoping to go home on Tuesday, but little M still has her chest tubes in, and we, of course can’t leave till those come out. Little M is doing well, and we are amazed at how she just keeps adapting. She has had some very painful and scary things happen to her, a lot of them in the middle of the night, and she is definitely a little more wary of strangers, but she still keeps smiling, and giving all the nurses fist bumps (yes, that’s right, our girl does fist bumps instead of high-fives). Everyone here is in love with her, and all the nurses ask to be assigned to her for their shifts.

    Oh my goodness what a beautiful child–and such a survivor! Wow! You are so blessed. I love her little voice and all those fun words we don't understand. 🙂 Love and prayers you can come home from a Xi'An CWI sister Izabella and Mom. So fun to watch your journey–she's a gift–huge gift!

    OMG, I thought she was cute in photos but that video is off the charts! She is a total star! Unbearably adorable!Hope you get to take her home soon and that she heals quickly, what a trooper!

    Mackenzie is such an amazing child. Just totally adorable and so strong. Keeping my fingers crossed that she gets to go home soon!

    I'm sitting here just sobbing… Your amazing little M is simply the most precious baby girl! I can't believe she is in such good spirits after just having surgery. What an incredible little angel she is…Sending you hugs!
