Tree Love And Other Bits Of Randomness…

Let’s start with this slightly creepy photo…I think, even though little M looks a little crazed, it still shows how over the top happy she is with “my Christh-math!” So presh…

Little M has some crazy tree love, and it is funny to watch the OCD in her come out. I will find her randomly “organizing” the tree by putting all of the same ornaments together on the same branch. Like with like, or “same same,” as little M says.

The other day, one of the ornaments she was “fixing” just would not face out the way that she wanted it to. I could hear her getting more and more frustrated, and then she yelled out “Mama!! This is troubling me!”

Everything in little M’s past happened “last week” (i.e. “last week I was three”), everything in her future is “next week” (“next week I will be five!”), and everything in the present is “this week” (“this week I am four”).
It appears we will not be getting pictures with Santa this year, because, according to little M…”I like Santa. Last week I got my picture with him, but not this week. This week I will just wave (to) him, because this week I am scared of him…maybe next week when I am older I will have a picture with him. okay, mommy?” Okay, then…

Little M has been wanting earrings for quite some time. I usually don’t wear them so as not to draw attention to them. But she wants them, and it creates quite the dilemma…as you know, our girl is missing the form of her right ear. Well, as you can see, we have found something that satisfies her for the time being. Those are stick-on earrings, and she loves them. Every morning it is a big deal to put on her earrings for school. We may have to start buying them in bulk! I think they are so cute, and they make my girl so happy…

I do so love this little M, and I love her love for all things Christh-math…

Picture #1 would make Darth Vader jump back!!!Yippeee! Since earrings aren't left/right like shoes, there are all kind of ways to share pairs, and also, why care if you lose one! When she is old enough she can start an on-line exchange (like there are with shoes).
