Traditions…

I love holiday traditions, and if you can call something we’ve only done one other time (last year), then this is definitely little M’s favorite tradition.

Building a “gingerbread man house” is something we will be doing every year.

We did this the first day of Christmas break, and when I told little M we were going to make the gingerbread house, she threw her arms around me, and yelled “this will be a GREAT day!”

She ate half the candy, and a lot of the icing, but she still took her job very seriously.

After deciding which design she liked, she worked hard to put it together…

Then, she decided that it needed some gingerbread man shapes. So that is what we did. As you can see, she was quite proud of them. Ha.

Not so bad, right?

Also, note to self…the pre-made gingerbread house is the way to go. The one we had to put together ourselves last year was a disaster…Always do pre-made!
