Things She Says (and Sad News)…

First, the sad news…I have managed to lose my very nice camera. I left it on the airplane on the way home from Wyoming. Ugh. I am hoping they will be able to find it and get it back to me, but I haven’t heard anything yet, and I have no idea how long these things usually take. Days? Weeks? Anyone know?? It’s driving me crazy!

One of the reasons I keep this blog is to remember…to be able to look back and see what my precious little M was like. And remember the things she said, and how she said them. To remember, I write them here, because if I don’t put it down, I know I’ll forget.

Little M has the cutest phrases, but I also love the way she says things. She is all her own person!

A fly is a “flug”
A moose is a “moonth,” and is usually said in a deep voice.
A star is “thar”
blood is “blug”
Squeaky is “thweeky”
Silly is “thilly”

Five is “fi-vah,” after working with her speech therapist and hearing f’s and v’s over pronounced.
Owie is “ow-way,” and this is my favorite, because I know it will change soon.
So much is “tho mush”
Snow is “thnoo”
Rough is “ruffa”

Stop is “thop,” or “Top,” depending on how serious or loud she is.
Horse is “horth”
Christmas is “chrithmath”
Merry is “maway.” Yes, we are still saying merry Christmas… for some reason, every day after I do her hair she tells me merry Christmas. Cute little weirdo.

Those are just a few of my favorites.

Cute, cute, cute. What a bummer about the camera. Fingers crossed that you will hear from the airlines!!

We left our camera several years ago. We did get it back. Apparently it takes several weeks to get items back to their Airports of origin. Ours came back to us over 6 weeks later, just after we had purchased a new camera. Don't give up hope yet.

Oh, my! I would be just devastated. Here's hoping your camera makes its way back to you.And if not, maybe you can upgrade. There's always a silver lining. 😉
