The Last Day…

I cannot believe that a year has past…it seems like just yesterday that I was torturing myself with worry about whether little M was indeed ready for preschool or not.
Would she be able to be away from me for that long? Would it hurt our attachment? Would it help her speech?

We put her in preschool, and I worried for months about her even after she started. But I worried for nothing. She was in the best hands, and her speech grew by leaps and bounds.

Now, a whole year had gone by…she has grown older, bigger, and changed so much.

We have been so blessed to have such a great school close by. Her teacher is absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to trust with my chid.

When we ask little M what her favorite part of school is, she says that it’s Mrs. M…too bad she can’t have Mrs. M for a teacher every year! Ha!

Next year’s teacher has a lot to live up to!

Last year little M was a few inches smaller, and a few pounds lighter…but even looking at this picture from her first day of preschool, she looks much smaller and younger to me…

And on the last day of school, her face looks older, she doesn’t have as much baby fat, and she is SO much more self confident! She looks like such a little girl!

And now, bring on Summer time!

She does look so much older. It is amazing what a difference a year makes when they are growing up.
