The Garden…

The Garden, our hotel in Guangzhou, has a beautiful little walking path, and a fish pond that the kids love…

In the mornings, after we eat breakfast, little M and baby J and I like to take some bread out to feed the fish and take a little walk.

I think this is baby J’s most favorite thing ever.

And little M remembers it from the last time we were here, and she talked about it for weeks before we came.

I think the fish like it too, haha.

These two, my oldest, have been amazing on this trip…

I am beyond proud of them, and how they have so graciously handled their new, very unhappy, baby sister.

Baby J has been so careful to be gentle, and little M especially has been so patient, and has seemed to know when to move in and when to back off. She has been helpful in bringing us things for tiny P and entertaining baby J when we were both needing to pay attention to tiny P.

I have felt bad for them, having to deal with all of the unhappiness that tiny P is right now, but they have done so wonderfully, and my mommy’s heart could not be prouder of them.

Sounds like M and J have handled it so well! That's great. We had kind of a bumpy ride with our 2 older kids on B's adoption trip last summer, so I know it's not always easy for the big ones. Yay for M and J!
