She is halfway to thirteen today. And yes—we’

She is halfway to thirteen today.
And yes—we’re celebrating.

Because in a life full of medical appointments, hospital days, and uncertainty… every good moment deserves to be honored. Every smile, every bit of joy, every ounce of childhood we can reclaim—we hold onto it with both hands.

This girl lights up the world with her strength and her laughter. She’s been through more than most grown-ups, yet she still finds magic in the rain and peace in the trees.

Happy half birthday, sweet girl. You are everything worth celebrating.

Yesterday our sweet Finn laid in that noisy MRI tu

Yesterday our sweet Finn laid in that noisy MRI tunnel for one hour, letting the magnets map out every inch of his brave, broken, beautiful heart. For an HOUR. Our silly, anxious-brave eight year old with ADHD and PTSD closed his eyes, took a deep breath and did it without a single wiggle. I was so proud!

His imaging confirmed what his last echoes have shown… his little heart is working very hard and interventions will probably be needed sooner rather than later.

Next steps have already been scheduled, and we appreciate you keeping Finn (and the rest of us) in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for standing with us- hope beats loudest when we share it. 💙💙
