Snow Day…

Little M had two days off from school this week…I don’t know if we can actually call one of them a “snow day,” since there was no snow on the ground by the time school would have started.

But our second “snow day” dropped a good three inches of the white stuff. I realize that sarcasm doesn’t convey well in writing, but trust me, that was dripping with sarcasm. The roads were actually quite clear.

Oh well, I will keep my girl home with me any way I can get her!

Little M has been talking about building a snowman for months, and I thought we could try and see what we could come up with in the little snow we had…

As you see, this blog post has no snowman pictures. Because it never happened.

We got our cute pictures…

But when the snowman time came, baby J cried after touching the snow…

Little M accused me of trying to freeze her to death.

“why do you want me to DIE, mommy?! Why? I will freeze out here!”

Drama, drama, drama…

Since we can’t have people freezing to death, we went back inside.

Little M has decided that she will try again when she goes to grandma’s house…

But you know what will happen, right? The husband will be freezing his cute little behind off making a snowman, while little M watches… inside, from a window.

At least my drama-filled babies are cute…

Precious! We've our snow days. We got a bit more. We have enjoyed sledding every day this week and two snow men. Carmella loves to look at the snow and be out in it but she does NOT like for it to touch her boots or gloves. She reacted the same way to sand when we were on vacation. So she didn't actually a use us of trying to freeze her to death but by the look on her face you could tell she was thinking it. Love the kids Christmas outfits. Maybe you will get enough for that snowman today.

Gorgeous pictures of your little ones. They seriously have the BEST clothing!! Every single day this week the girls have hoped for a snow day. We've had loads of snow and wicked commutes to our schools, but no snow day. The back yard ice rink has been getting a workout!
