Shamian Island…

We spent the morning on Shamian Island… when we were here two and a half years ago getting little M, we stayed on this island. I love it here, it is so quiet and peaceful.

My introverted little self looooves the quiet of the island.

But we also very much love where we are staying in the city… everything is much easier to get to!

Our little guy is sleeping so much better this week, he cries a little bit in his sleep, but doesn’t wake up, and he hasn’t had the bouts of devastated crying before bed lately. He has, however, been testing us like crazy. So fun.

Little M is doing so well. She freaks out a little when baby J tries to wrestle with her, or tease her. We keep telling her that she is much bigger and stronger than him, all she has to do is pull away, and walk away. But she freezes, and gets upset. We’re working on it…

She loves to be in charge of her brother, and wants to be the boss of everything he does. Overall, she is incredible, and I am very proud of how well she is handling everything.

Nobody can makes baby J laugh like his jiejie (big sister).

I love these two littles!

We did visit Starbucks while we were on the island, even though we have one right by our hotel, ha!

You won’t find these snacks at home, though…everything is green tea of mango flavored!

Tonight we are heading out for a river cruise before our consulate appointment first thing tomorrow!
Only three more days!!
