Seasonal Garb…Outfit One

That’s right, outfit one. There are, of course, many more than just one holiday outfit, and you know they will all make some sort of appearance on this blog.
Little M and I were invited to the husband’s holiday dinner and also to see The Nutcracker with his office.
We were prepared not to stay long, but little M? A HUGE fan of theatre! She loved it, and clapped and danced, and watched and waved. Maybe this will become a holiday tradition for little M…
Lucky for me, little M loves clothes, and loves having her hair done.

The hair is growing out, though, and I don’t have a lot of hairstyles in my repertoire. Any suggestions? How do you style growing hair that is still quite short?

Those tights are just darling with the dress. I can't wait to see the next holiday outfit. Hair barrettes and bows were staples until Josie's hair was long enough for pig/pony tails. How fun that enjoyed the nutcracker. Josie talked and asked questions through the entire performance. Merry Christmas!

She is just too cute! I style my McKenzie's hair the best way I can. Usually involves a half up half down or a ponytail with lots of little clips. Good luck!

Ha ha! My daughter is just home from Taiwan 3 weeks and her hair is incredibly short. I have been styling it that exact same way. 2 pretend ponytails up on top with big bows.

Love outfit #1.Bella has fine hair and we keep it in a bob but it took a long time to get there. My only suggestions are piggies like you are doing and then a barrette or clip to one side. If you can find headbands that work with her head shape (we have trouble here), those can be cute.

I am so excited to see what Little M wears next. Love that dress and tights, simply adorable. I can't give much advice on hairstyles since my daughter at 21 months still has very little hair. All I can suggest is just to find accessories such as bows, ribbons and flowers to attach to her pigtails and she'll be as cute as a button! Which won't be hard because she already is a cutie pie!
