Rocks
I am constantly finding rocks all over our house. Little M is a collector.
They are in her purses, and in her pockets, in my purse, and unfortunately in my dryer (so loud). They get played with just as if they were real toys.
These are not pretty rocks. It seems only the ugly rocks are worthy of collecting.
So I told her that maybe we could paint them, and make them pretty
…she informed that they were already pretty, but the painting did appeal to her. A lot.
The girl loves her a craft, and painting rocks is no exception.
So that is just what we did.
Yes. We painted rocks. And now little M wants to “decorate rocks” every day. Many found their way into random bags and purses, but I was able to gather a few for pictures…
I might like painting rocks, too!

Odd. Looks like the glass of rocks is floating above the table!
Ha! I thought we were surely the only family in the world who would paint rocks. Ellie wants M to know she thought her rocks were beautiful and the pink paint is so pretty!
This is totally a Josie activity. She's constantly bringing rocks into the house. Now that she's in kindergarten, I find the small playground rocks in her pockets daily. Definitely not good for the dryer.
I am 48 and still collect rocks. I tell my hubby they are free souvenirs. I have them displayed all over the house and outside as well. Good for Little Miss M!
we paint rocks alot. It is fun to put them back outside (maybe in a garden or small patio) and go find them later when you are looking for more rocks to paint. Love your blog, your girl is so adorable.
