Progress…

She used to say “I hatha go poppy,” now she says “I have to go potty.”
She used to say “pweppy,” now she says “pret-ty.”
She used to say ” Mckuhkuh,” now she says “matenthie.”
She used to say”peee,”now she says “pweeth.”
She used to say “hep you,” now she says “will you hep me pweeth.”
She used to say “wack,” now she says “thnack.”
She used to say “diter,” now she says “diaper.”
She used to say “pwup,” now she says “pull-up.”
She used to say “dardie,” now she says “I thorry.”
She used to say “uppee,” now she says “up, pweeth.”
She says “how are you,” and “how was your day?”
She knows her colors, her basic shapes, her letters and the sounds they make, and she can count to ten. She is learning to count to fifteen, but instead of saying “thirteen, fourteen, fifteen,” she says “one three, one four, one five.” Haha…
Slowly, but surely, I feel like we are seeing real progress. We are starting to be able to communicate, and that makes me so excited. I know we still have a long way to go, but our little girl is making some good progress, and we celebrate every little milestone!
