New Week, New Color…

Because of the holiday last week, baby J’s new cast was bumped to yesterday…

Cast number nine (can you believe we’ve done nine of these babies?!) was apparently just as traumatic as casts 2-8 were. I say apparently, because I was not there for the trauma. The husband went back with baby J while I stayed with little M in the waiting room. After the screaming and sawing were over, we went back to join them. This worked MUCH better than having to endure both of the kids and the sawing all together.

As you can see, the cast this week is yellow. I was picturing a soft sunshiny yellow. What we got is the opposite. It is a harsh, garish, neon yellow. It’s a tad rough on the eyes…
No worries, though, because this cast will not be on for long!

On Thursday, our little man will have surgery to sever his achilles tendon.
The end is in sight for baby J’s casts…only two more casts, and six more weeks to go!!

A light at the end of the tunnel! Yay! Sending big hugs for Thursday. I so can't wait to see pictures of baby J running and jumping! He looks likes such a little dynamo!
