Naked Legs…

Our little M loves her some naked legs.

I know our girl loves to dress up, and I know she loves dresses.

I also know she doesn’t care for pants.
She doesn’t even own a pair of jeans, because they bother her so much.

Our girl has some sensory processing issues, and not only do pants and tights bother her, but if they are tight and have seams that rub on her skin, they hurt her. Any part of clothing that is in close contact with her skin bothers her.

I don’t understand since I don’t have this problem, but imagine a tag on your shirt that bothers you. Little M was bothered so much by the seam of her pants waistband the other day, that she scratched at her skin until it bled.

Our girl feels the best in a loose, flowy dress, or loose cotton shorts and shirt.
She asks every day if she can have naked legs, and is seriously disappointed when we say no. And sometimes, we have to say no, because sometimes, you just have to wear pants.

But sometimes we can say yes, and when we say yes, she is beyond happy. We have to remind her that we don’t need to tell everyone about our naked legs…

When we say yes, we get to see this face…

And I do love this face!

I didn't like to wear jeans when I was little either. I hated how they felt. She will probably grow out of it haha but the way she reacts is so cute right now!
