Loves…

Little M changes so much week from week, and she makes us laugh all the time. She is developing a great little sense of humor, and loves when we understand what she is saying and laugh. When she is trying to make us laugh and we do, her eyes light up, and she is so delighted.
Her personality is so sweet and loving, and every day I am with her, I grow to love her more and more. There are so many things I never want to forget about this time, sometimes I want to speed up time and see what she blossoms into, and sometimes, I want to freeze time so she stays this way forever. Some things I am loving and want to remember:
*When little M goes poo in the potty, she gets chocolate. The other day we were in the car, and we heard her talking about poo and chocolate in the backseat. After she discussed this with herself at length, she yelled, “Hello, poopoo! Hello, chocolate!” I thought the husband was going to drive off the road, he was laughing so hard. Love it.
*I love that when I go to get her up in the morning, she smiles, raises her arms for me to pick her up, and when I do, she wraps her arms around my neck and says “I love the mama”
*When ANYONE closes their eyes for ANY length of time, little M is sure they are going to sleep. She says “theepy night night” over and over, in a very worried voice, and will rub the person’s face, kiss them, and maybe even sing a lullaby, or two. “theepy, night-night” has become a common phrase in our house.
*When someone sneezes, she says “bleth ooo!” She says it in such a sweet little voice, and I know she won’t pronounce it like this forever, so I am enjoying it while it is here.

*She loves, LOVES to sing. Loves. And I love to hear her in the backseat while I am driving, singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and abc’s, and You Are My Sunshine. I love how her abc’s all blend together, except for w, which is very clear. I love how her Twinkle Twinkle has morphed from winkle winkle, to become very clear. I love that after she is done with each song, she will announce the next song, and then sing it. And I love that she claps and cheers for herself after singing each song.

*I love when she comes to me, and in her sweet little voice, says “Mommy, hug?”
*I love, love, love that she is potty training herself. She picks out her panties in the morning, and, except for a couple minor accidents, has been telling me every time she needs to go.
*I love that little M “talks” about the things she likes to do. When we ride the train at the mall, she will talk about the choo choo train for days. When we see her friends, she talks about it. When she goes to the pool, she talks about the water. She will say “fun” or “like it” after she talks about whatever it is that she enjoyed, and it makes me feel like she is having something of a conversation with me.

*I love her burgeoning bravery. She is deathly afraid of bugs, and will talk about a scary bug for weeks. Seriously. Weeks. But she has recently taken to stomping out very very tiny bugs, like ants and minuscule spiders that may or may not truly exist. I don’t care, though. Because her stomping? Something I hope she does forever. See for yourself.

I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but could she BE any cuter?

If I could be any more excited to bring Feitong home, this post did the job! I love it.
