Let’s Play…

We introduced little M to our house and to all her new toys slowly.

Now that she is well versed in all of her toys and in all areas of our house, we realized she needed more storage, and better play areas. Our goal is to create zones where she can safely play with anything and everything she wants, but also that spark her imagination and creativity.
It’s not finished yet, but here is what we have so far…
This blank wall by the stairs…
Became a dress up area, with a mirror, and fun abc vinyls.
This area by the window…
Became a crafting area, with a fun rug for cars (and also to protect the carpet from said crafting)
The bookshelves house baskets full of noiseless toys, like books, stacking blocks, puzzles, dishes, and more!

How does all of this measure up for little M? She has learned how to say “downstairs,”
and asks to go down and play constantly.

Love all of the play areas. Now if only I could be that crafty and organized!

LOVE IT! We have done something similar in our house. We had a dedicated playroom that went untouched and found that putting areas in little spots here and there not only freed up a bedroom but get a whole lot more use! 🙂
