It’s A…

That’s right! We are having a little boy! A son, a brother… He is two years old, and he is waiting for us in Hunan province, China. We have received our pre-approval, and we are waiting for our official letter of approval/acceptance, which will come in 5-7 weeks. After that there is a TON more immigration paperwork, and then we are hoping to travel sometime in the Spring.

It has been a crazy couple of months, with rushing around to get paperwork done, and it was touch and go there for a little bit, but we feel very sure that this little guy is meant to be ours.

Just some fun facts…when we were in China adopting little M, our boy was being born!
His birthday is ten days after mine…little M’s birthday is ten days before the husband’s.

We are so excited to be waiting for this little guy…
now we have so much to do! I have to decorate a boy room! And buy boy clothes, and boy toys (little M has declared that she does not care for sharing her toys with a brother), and re-baby proof our house…our to-do list is very long.
Thank you all for your sweet encouraging words yesterday, you all are so sweet! It has been so hard not to share any of the happenings during this waiting process!

Congratulations! There is so much to experience as a mom of a son. We have gone from Thomas the Train to video games to Boy Scouts and everything in between. Although there are many times we clash as mom and son, it is heaven when you receive a \”thank you, mom\” and one of those big, awkward boy hugs. Many blessings to all of you,Cindy
