I Do Love Me Some Baskets!

We have four bookshelves in our basement on either side of our tv. They were hard for me to look at, and I realized I needed to find a way to hide some things, as well as make some storage space for toys. The before was a little hodge-podge, but once I covered the photo albums with kraft paper, and added these wonderful baskets from Pottery Barn, they look cleaner, and more put together. Plus, the baskets let me hide the messies! I bought some simple wood plaques and painted them with chalkboard paint, then drilled holes and hung them with twine. Labels!

I love these baskets, and my new labels, too!

hi joanna! so, you don't know me, but i stumbled upon your blog when i clicked that mysterious \”next blog\” button at the top of my screen. i guess blogger can detect my preferences, because i've come across a lot of blogs about adoption this way — i do this when i'm bored! 🙂 my hubsand and i are adopting from korea (which is what our blog chronicles) and we are waiting for our little boy to be able to come home. we are also in the dc area and are using chsfs as our agency. mackenzie is beautiful and i am hoping she is in your arms soon! will be following your story!
