Home Is Where The Sprinkles Are…
I was craving a little craft, and this was definitely a little one…I think it took about ten minutes, from start to finish.
I saw it on pinterest, natch, and thought it might be a nice little change for one of my kitchen frames.
I saw it with an outline of Montana, and I lurve me some Montana…plus, the outline for Montana is much prettier than Maryland’s. But sadly, Montana is not where I am living, so Maryland it had to be.
I printed out my map in black and white, and cut out the shape of Maryland…
Then I traced it onto some green paper…
Used some sprinkles to make my heart shape…
And wrote my cute little saying…
Home is where the sprinkles are…

Being a life-long resident of Maryland, I love it! True, cutting out all of those shorelines, rivers, and of course, the Chesapeake Bay is tedious, but what better way to honor the state in which you reside? Isn't it funny that Maryland is almost cut into thirds? I bet it was difficult to keep the state from ripping to pieces as you cut it. 😉
