Home…

Baby J is home!

And he is THRILLED to be out of the hospital…

He was on breathing treatments every four hours yesterday, and they determined that he could tolerate those at home.
Please note that dinosaur and woodstock are also getting breathing treatments…

He is almost able to keep food down. I say almost because when they were talking of releasing him, the doctor came to our room to start the process, and she even had discharge papers, but when she got to us, baby J threw up all the applesauce he had just been eating, and she left without giving us a discharge… but a couple hours later she tried again, and he got his iv removed.

He is beyond happy to be home, and his disposition is already greatly improved…he still tires very easily, and once he starts coughing it’s hard to stop, and it wears him down. Maybe we will be back to a napping schedule for a bit? He is on breathing treatments every four hours for a while, and we will keep him home and quiet until he is well. Thanks for all of your prayers for our little guy!

I’m just happy to see that little smile again. It’s been so long.

I'm so glad your little sweetie is home. We've had breathing treatments with Miss Josie and it definitely helps when the stuffed animals also get breathing treatments. He will be so much more comfortable in his own surroundings. Continued prayers.

So happy to see that baby J is home where he'll be far more comfortable and much happier! Continued hugs and prayers for his recovery to go faster now that he's home, and for him to be back to feeling great again.
