Heartiversary!

Last year on this day little M had open heart surgery to repair several holes in her little heart, and to repair a valve.

That surgery was successful, and today we have a healthy, thriving little girl! We will always be so grateful for little M’s cardiologist, her surgeon, and the wonderful nurses who cared for her (and us) during our long hospital stay.
But most of all, we are thankful for our heart healthy little girl!

Happy Heartiversary, Sweet Girl! You are certainly a beauty!!! I am a China mom, too, with a four year old spicy Asian princess. I found your blog, looked through some of your posts, and found the one about \”hoarding.\” My Tori loves to pack up her things in bags, purses, baskets, and boxes. She carries them around awhile, then leaves them all over the house. I haven't figured out if it is a \”hoarding\” issue or just something that little girls do. (Sometimes it drives me crazy, though because I will find two or three packages with an assortment of things…some of it mine!) We have a blog, if you would like to visit us sometime (www.whaleyccjt.blogspot.com). Cindy

Happy Heart Anniversary! At our house, we celebrate Josie's open-heart surgery anniversary almost as much as we celebrate her adoption anniversary. It was that life-changing. Cheers and extra spoils are in order today for your sweet girl!!

Happy Heartiversary!! Your post tugged at a few heart strings of my own. Our China Princess also had heart issues and I have a picture very similar to this one. Miss Em's heart problem didn't require surgery, but scary enough for me!! I am amazed at the strength these little girls have. Happy to hear Heart Healthy!!I enjoy following your story! It's similar to watching our daughter grow and get stronger each day. I enjoy every smile and expression Miss M has – absolutely adorable!!!
