Heart Wreath

Since we are in the throes of decorating for Valentines/Chinese New Year/Just Winter, little M and I have been perusing Pinterest for some decorating ideas, and this was cute…and easy, since I already had a burlap covered wreath from our Christmas decorations…

We used a cookie cutter, and little M traced it onto some felt…

We cut them out and laid them on our burlap wreath, going in opposite directions…
The one we saw on pinterest had everything glued down, but we didn’t glue them, because that would have been harder for little M to do, and I wanted to be able to just take everything off and do something else with my burlap wreath.

We wrapped our yarn around once, and then turned around and wrapped it back the other way in a criss-cross pattern. We knotted a loop at the top to hang it, and we were done!

But we weren’t quite done, because little M decided she needed more yarn…for a necklace and a headband! Love this cute girl!
