Halloween Stories…

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays…you get to dress up, drink, and eat chocolate, what’s not to love?! There are parties, there is revelry, and did I mention chocolate?
I have also discovered more this year.
There are halloween books, rhymes, pumpkins to get overwhelmingly excited over, and cute outfits. Honestly, I have not limited myself to just one cute outfit this year. Little M has a few. Most of which involve a tutu.
We now own more halloween kid’s books than I ever knew existed. Because they have pumpkins in them, and little M thinks that pumpkins are “wondowful.”
Her favorite is a book with a cute little rhyme about five little pumpkins. When we’re not reading it, she quotes it. And that…is pretty much the cutest thing I have ever heard in my life. It just makes me love halloween even more!

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate.
The first one said, oh my it’s getting late.
The second one said, there are witches in the air.
The third one said, but we don’t care.
The fourth one said, let’s run and run and run.
The fifth one said, I’m ready for some fun.
Ooooo, went the wind, and out went the light,
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

You know there is nothing like a child's discovery of those things that you take for granted. I will never forget last Halloween when Tori discovered \”It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.\” If course, what came next was the Thanksgiving and Christmas Charlie Brown, too.Lil' Miss cute stuff really looks adorable in her festive outfit. (I think these Asian beauties look darling in decked out in those tutu skirts!)Many Halloween hugs,Cindy
