Going Home…

We are leaving tomorrow! We are VERY ready to be home…

Being in China is great, and we have had a wonderful family time, and met some good friends, but it doesn’t quite feel real.

You can’t really settle into any sort of routine, and you can’t really establish any house rules or boundaries.

You can’t establish a real bedtime routine, because the dinner hour, and the morning routine is a little different every day. Seems like we are always rushing off to do something!

We are looking forward to getting home, and settling our baby J into a routine.
We are excited to show him our house, and his room and toys.

We are looking forward (and dreading a little bit, too) to going to the doctor, and getting his foot issues figured out, and hopefully made less painful, and also checking into his other bone issues. It will be nice to have a good medical professional’s opinion on our little guy’s bone/skeletal issues. I don’t even know how to describe them, but we have noticed some things with his hands, hips, knees and neck, not just his feet. Thankfully, we have a good doctor set up at Children’s for when we get home!

We are looking forward to getting some good nutrition into our little man… he is SO thin!

Mostly we are just looking forward to being at home with our little family.
Oh, and sweet tea, with ICE!!
