Friday Favorites…

It’s been a long time since I have shared some of my favorite blog posts from the interwebs… there are so many good posts out there! These are just a few I have enjoyed lately.

Rebecca, at La Dolce Vita: The Sweet Life, has some great thoughts on ten things adoptive parents of medical needs kids, and what they want you to know.

And Rebecca also wrote this post, titled Upheld, about how adoptive parents encourage each other, go through similar things, specifically in the special needs adoption world, and how ultimately, we are upheld by God.

Tara wrote a post for No Hands But Ours titled Her New Forever, about her thoughts on her daughter’s being home for a year. This post resonated with me especially because our baby J has been home for one year, and was in a similar place, where he was happy in China, being the only child in his foster family.

Nancy wrote this post for No Hands But Ours a while back as an open letter to the stranger in the Target line trying to engage her in a conversation about adoption. I had to laugh, because Target is where all of our random encounters happen, too!

And last, but not least, a friend texted me this funny video the other day (Thanks, Megan!), and it had the husband and I cracking up. It’s hilarious. And true…
