Freezing…

After we had a couple warmish days a couple weeks ago, this happened this last week…

With the holiday, little M only went to school two days this week. I’m beginning to wonder if I will ever be warm again, and our heater hasn’t turned off all week.

The kids are over it, and Winter can be done any time now. But little M did point out this past week that this weather is perfect for putting on some sweat pants and doing some crafts.
And so that is just what we did…

Chinese new year is this week, and we have been doing some reading, some planning, and some crafting…

We got these little wooden pegs at the craft store, and little M had fun making them into little dolls.

She painted their hair on, drew their faces, and was very excited to make their little clothes…

We used some felt and ribbon that we had on hand.

And we used little black beads to make our girl’s hair buns.
I especially like these mini replicas she made of herself and baby J…

And I love that she made our family. As with all her drawings, there is a recurring theme in her crafting, as well. Every drawing or craft of our family has a baby sister, and there is just no talking her out of that…

So cute!

My goodness she is a good crafter. Takes after her mama.

What a cute craft! I wish I could be doing that with Gracie, but we live in PA and they live in CA. Blessings

Adorable bead family. Crafting is the perfect way to spend a chilly day.
