Family Time…

When we came back to our hotel after getting our boy, we had lunch, and he was falling asleep at the table, so we went back to our room, and let him take a nap…

He was so not thrilled when he woke up and saw that he was still with us… he opened one eye, and when he saw me, he scrunched his little eyes back closed, and after a couple minutes, he started crying.

I picked him up, and he cried for quite a while. He was definitely grieving, and calling for his NaiNai. We aren’t happy that he’s sad, but we’re happy that he is letting us comfort him, and hold him.

There is a playroom at our hotel, and little M was very excited to go check it out, so after a while, that is what we did.

Our boy loved it! He has clearly been to playgrounds, and he loves playing with little M.

It was good to see some smiles, and hear his happy little giggle. I love seeing my two little ones playing together!

He is just adorable. His sorrow will ease with time as he learns to trust the love of his forever family.

With Little M's help, I pray his transition will be more smooth and take less time. Hopefully the more involved she is with helping her new baby brother the less likely she may remember and regress.
