Dirty fingers.
Our little M is quite obsessed with cleanliness. She does not tolerate a mess, especially a mess on her person. She hates dirty hands, and “wash,” and “soap” are words that she says quite clearly.
But little M is three, and I don’t think three year olds can help but make a mess. And when one uses a whole stick of chalk at a time, the fingers get a tad messy.
But, to be honest, I enjoy when she is messy. Why? Because I love her “messy” face.
And I like it when she says “messy, dirty” over and over.
Sometimes I want to make her dirty, just so I can see this face.
Love her.

That last picture of her on the steps is just precious!! Josie is the QUEEN of mess. I can't keep her clean ever. Soap isn't her favorite word…hee hee.
