Crazy Year (In Pictures)

What a crazy year we have had! In January, I wrote this post, about why 2010 was going to be stupid. How wrong I was!

God had some other plans for us….like this…one of the first pictures we saw of our daughter in February, just a few days after being approved to adopt her.
In July, I quit my job to prepare to be a stay at home mom, and in August we brought little M home from China!
In September we celebrated little M’s half birthday,
And had copious doctor’s appointments.
In October little M had surgery to repair several holes in her heart, and to fix her pulmonary valve.
A couple weeks later she was feeling great, and was like a new person.
She has celebrated her first Halloween…
Her first Thanksgiving…
And her first Christmas…
We love this little girl, and we love being her family!
And while 2010 did not turn out to be stupid, it did turn out to be crazy, but we wouldn’t have had this crazy year any other way!

YAY! So much to be thankful for in 2010! This is such a great reminder how God often exceeds our expectations, and how when we face disappointments, we can hold to the fact that He indeed is working for our best!
