Color Of The Week…

We are running out of color options…baby J has gotten so many casts that we have run through almost all of the colors!

So this week, for cast number seven (yes, seven. Ugh), we did purple with orange stripes.

This week his foot looked twice as good as it looked last week. Thanks to everyone who has been praying!

The area around his ankle was amazingly pliable, and the doctor was able to stretch and manipulate it more than he has ever been able to. They turned it quite a bit this week, and baby J has already complained about it hurting because of the stretch.

So as of this week, it looks like there is an end in sight to the casting…surgery has been tentatively scheduled!

We will be good friends with everyone at the hospital by the end of the Summer. We already know each other on a first name basis…

This boy is amazing. I don’t think I could manage to keep going with a smile on my face if I were on my seventh cast.

We’re more than halfway done, little guy! Hang in there!
