Charleston…

We are just finishing up the most wonderful week in Charleston! We rented an amazing house on Sullivan’s Island with some extended family, and it has been relaxing and so fun.

We have spent time sightseeing, and enjoying the wonderful gardens in downtown Charleston…

I love the architecture in this city, especially the doors, gates, and gardens.

Little M was a trooper…even though it was blazing hot, she put up with all of our wanderings and picture taking. It helped that she got to visit the beach every afternoon.

The alleyways in Charleston are so fun, and one of my favorite things…besides the food, of course. The food is always my favorite. Always.

We have walked, and shopped, and eaten. Oh my, have we eaten.

In our wanderings, we took a little break…in a cemetery. Yes, we did, and I loved it.
It was beautiful, and lovely.

And there was a water fountain.

What a wonderful week! I am hoping to do this again soon!

I am sooooooo jealous! Charleston is a city I have always wanted to experience. Got close numerous times, though.
