Celebrations…

We celebrated our tiny two year old on Sunday evening, finally! With all of the being hospitalized and emergency surgeries, and random coughs popping up, I was worried we’d never get to do this… then on Sunday, she woke up with a bad rash, all over her entire body. Turns out that tiny P is among the 5% of people in the world who get an amoxicillin rash. This was to be a drug that she would take prophylactically for the rest of her life, so that was sad news… but the rash was not contagious, and her spirits were high, so we forged ahead with the celebrations.

Our theme revolved around pumpkins

It’s handy because pumpkin season just happened, so we recycled our halloween and thanksgiving pumpkins.

We kept everything very simple, so we wouldn’t completely overwhelm our tiny P…

But of course there were cupcakes and presents…

Tiny P was like, you want me to do what with the fire?

She wasn’t sure about the cupcake at first,

But icing won her over.

She has been singing happy birthday to herself ever since…

I’m pretty sure she will know what to do next time a birthday rolls around.

Presents were also a new thing to our girl. She enjoyed tearing off the paper, and I’m pretty sure she thought that was just some crazy thing daddy was making her do.

But by the end, she knew what she was doing, and when Christmas comes, our girl will know just what to do!

Happy Birthday, tiny P!
