Building A Building Tray…

Did you know that lego base plates came in big sizes? I didn’t…until Pinterest introduced me to that special insider knowledge.

I found this little lego tray on Pinterest, and decided to create my own version. The tray on Pinterest was probably a little sturdier, but I wanted something quick and easy…

So I bought my unfinished frame…

Painted it, and glued my lego plate on. I put a dowel under the plate to reinforce it a bit.

I let the glue dry overnight, and then sharpied little M’s name on it, because who doesn’t like a personalized everything?

She played with this thing for a solid two hours…

That’s what I call success. Ha! I am still walking around patting myself on the back!

Brilliant! Josie is getting all kinds of Lego's for Christmas. I think this is a perfect addition too.

That is such a great idea! Did you use a really strong glue to glue it to the frame? Did you buy the lego mat online? I need those for my kids!! You wrote her name so cute too! 🙂
