Blossoming…

Slowly, little by little, there is less crying and more smiles…

Every day gets a little easier with her, as she opens up a bit more, and shows us more of her sweet little personality.

And we like what we are seeing! She is playing… her favorite playmates are her big sister and her big brother.

She is laughing just a little bit, and we are looking forward to hearing some giggles, hopefully one day soon.

She is sassy.. and oh, so stubborn. I thought no one could outdo baby J in stubbornness, but tiny P makes baby J look completely meek and mild… we’re in trouble.

She is eating! The husband worked hard with her on this, and she learned how to chew after a couple weeks with us. She is gagging less, and is able to chew and swallow better. We are excited that she might be able to cut back on some of those middle of the night bottles soon!

She is talking. We think she must be our fastest English speaker so far, and she already has quite a few English words just after a few weeks! She is saying more, eat, daddy, uh-oh, oops, see, owl, gentle, and hi.

She is completely adorable, and we are thrilled she is ours!

So glad to see her progressing. I love the third picture… her serious tiara face. I have a feeling that she is thinking, \”Really? You think you'd look as cute as I do in this feathery tiara? I highly doubt that.\”

Her little smile is so genuine. When she laughs it's going to come from way down by her toes and blow you all away.Beautiful, just like her sibs.

I do believe you have another little character on your hands! Love it!!! Looking forward to \”just heard\” posts in the future. 😉 Something tells me it's going to be fun listening in on and being part of conversations in your household! Lol. So happy to see some relaxed smiles and to hear how she loves her big J and M!

I'm so happy for you! She is adorable. I shared your blog with my sister, Janet, who adopted two girls from China, and she's been following along with your journey as well. Your pictures are beautiful, but not quite as beautiful as your kids… 🙂 All the best, -Gail
