A Celebration Of Life…

This past weekend we had the immense honor of celebrating the life of a little boy from China with a very special heart. He waited for thirteen years to have a family of his own, and he finally got his wish last year. He was so incredibly loved by his family, and he loved them completely. His is a story of hope, and love and life, and he lived his life to the fullest.

He loved laughing, and legos, and music, and superheroes… so we celebrated his life with all of the things he loved, including the real spiderman!

Looking around, even though the grief was thick, we were all struck by how many asian adopted children were there, dressed in their little superhero costumes, and the many medical needs they all represent… and there was hope.

Thank God, there is always, always hope.
