Toes In The Sand...

A year ago, thinking of our tiny P on the beach was not even something on our radar. A year ago, even six months ago, tiny P couldn't be in direct sunlight because of some medications she was on, so we never even considered her being on a beach...

But last week tiny P was on a beach, and it seems like a rite of passage, somehow, a kid's first time on a beach, the first time she sees an ocean...

The first time she feels the waves on her little toes...these little toes that just six months ago I was painting while she laid in a hospital bed, carefully moving aside her oxygen saturation monitor.

This is a big deal! A year ago our tiny P was dying...and last week, because she is alive and well, she got to go see the ocean for the first time.

Look what God has done.
