New!

I'm back! And would you just take a look at my new blog?! As you can see, we are no longer "waiting for two," and while a few joked that we should change it to "waiting for three/four/five" (bless their funny little hearts), I have always been slightly bothered that my url was crafty nester, and that the title didn't match the url…so now it does. And thanks to Kristy at Ohksocial media, it not only matches, but it is new and so pretty!

Many goings on have been happening here at our no-longer-radioactive house…I am no longer a hazard, and it is so good to be back around my babies! Thank you so much to everyone who emailed, and called, it was so sweet of you all to think of me! I am feeling tired, but otherwise fine, and I am hoping to be back to myself in no time at all!

Little M did amazing during the time she was away from me. If this had happened two years ago, or even a year ago, it would have been her undoing. It just really shows how far she has come, that she was able to handle herself, and communicate, and just be overall calm. I was so proud of her.

Baby J is a little ball of stress. Poor baby J… We are tightening up, I am staying close (I have to anyways, since he won't let me out of his sight now, ha), and doing lots of holding, and cuddling. Since he is doing a good bit of crying, the holding just comes naturally.
Poor guy. He had no idea what was going on in his little world, and he was mad at me for DAYS afterward. I'm not sure he's forgiven me, even now! Thankfully, the grandma was there to help, and he responded so well to her nurturing and love.
It was good to see that he missed me and that he was upset…all good attachment signs.
I think we have booted him firmly into anxious attachment!

These days, in this season of giving thanks, I am extra thankful for my babies, and my awesome man. Seriously, no one is more awesome than the husband.
I am holding them all extra close, and enjoying every minute I have with them.

And now…back to regularly scheduled programming!
