Oh, You Guys...

You guys rock. Can we just take a moment so I can thank you all for your sweet comments, and the emails you sent after my last blog post about our failed adoption...you guys are totally awesome and I love you and most of you don't even know me, but you are wonderful to me anyways! One thing that always astounds me in the blogging community is how, when things are going bad, bloggers (especially other mom's) step in to surround and support.
You guys rock.

Several of you asked if we had considered other programs, and if we would think about going back to China.
The answer is yes. To both. We have considered other programs, and yes, we would love to go back to China. We had been committed to Taiwan for a very long time, and were very much looking forward to the end of that journey. It's not that we weren't interested in adopting from China again. We are most definitely interested in China again. Unfortunately, our China paperwork is expired, so everything would have to be completely redone. That's not a bad thing, just very time consuming.

We know we would like another child. What that journey will look like we don't know, but we do know who is in control...of all things, including our sadness and our future. We know there is a plan. For now, we are trying to be patient and wait.

Thank you again for your sweet support, and your prayers.

Oh Joanna (sigh) . . . I'm just catching up on your blog and the failed adoption. My heart aches deeply for your loss - deeply. I am thankful, though, that God IS in control and He has a beautiful plan unfolding. There is a child He has for you just waiting to call you "Mommy" and it will be perfect. We both know "the waiting" is so refining but I am so thankful I get to wait with you my sweet sister :) Praying for His peace, his joy, and His very best for your precious family!

Oh Joanna, I feel your pain. We are ready for #2, but laws are changing, programs are closing, etc. It's a very frustrating time in the heart of a mama. But, when I look at my precious T I know that God's plans, reasons, and timing are perfect. It's hard! Praying that He will open doors for you and your precious family very soon.

I can't believe that after all this time this has happened. I am so heartbroken for you guys. I will give you what everyone says...what is meant to be will be....your child is out there and you will be united one day. Hard to read but as you know, so true...you live with an incredible miracle every day.

MacKenzie is going to be the best sister! I have no doubts...you may need to take stock in dip but....it will be worth it! :)

Four sizes in 18 months? oh my goodness....that is a healthy growing girl you have....
