Waiting...

We are STILL in the hospital! We are hoping to go home on Tuesday, but little M still has her chest tubes in, and we, of course can't leave till those come out. Little M is doing well, and we are amazed at how she just keeps adapting. She has had some very painful and scary things happen to her, a lot of them in the middle of the night, and she is definitely a little more wary of strangers, but she still keeps smiling, and giving all the nurses fist bumps (yes, that's right, our girl does fist bumps instead of high-fives). Everyone here is in love with her, and all the nurses ask to be assigned to her for their shifts.

This video was taken the day after she got out of the icu:

Oh my goodness what a beautiful child--and such a survivor! Wow! You are so blessed. I love her little voice and all those fun words we don't understand. :)

Love and prayers you can come home from a Xi'An CWI sister Izabella and Mom.

So fun to watch your journey--she's a gift--huge gift!

I said a quick prayer just now that y'all will be heading home tomorrow. And the fist bumps? SO precious.
